Corrosion Rules Text & Legality

Enchantment — mana cost {1}{B}{R}

Cumulative upkeep {1} (At the beginning of your upkeep, put an age counter on this permanent, then sacrifice it unless you pay its upkeep cost for each age counter on it.)

At the beginning of your upkeep, put a rust counter on each artifact target opponent controls. Then destroy each artifact with mana value less than or equal to the number of rust counters on it. Artifacts destroyed this way can't be regenerated.

When this enchantment leaves the battlefield, remove all rust counters from all permanents.

Corrosion is legal in Legacy and Commander, and not legal in Standard, Pioneer, Modern and Pauper.

  • Oct 4, 2004 It does count rust counters put on artifacts by other Corrosion cards. This means that having more than one of these can result in fast destruction of artifacts.
