How articles are made

TCG Strats articles are produced with AI-assisted research and drafting, grounded in a corpus of more than 340,000 documents of Magic strategy writing and video transcripts, official card data from Scryfall, community deck data from EDHREC, and our own live market price database. Every draft passes through automated validation stages that check card mechanics, color identity, rules interactions, and claims against oracle text before a human reviews it for publication.

Price and EV data

Prices on The Index are collected nightly from TCGplayer, Card Kingdom, Cardsphere, and Cardmarket. Expected-value figures for sealed products are statistical estimates computed from published pull rates and current singles prices. All of it can be delayed or wrong, and none of it is financial advice.

Corrections

When we find an error, we fix the article and note the change. If you spot something wrong, tell us and we will check it against the sources above. Card rulings change and metas shift; articles are updated as sets release and policies change.
