How articles are made

TCG Strat articles are researched, drafted, and reviewed through an editorial process that checks every draft against official card data from Scryfall and MTGJSON, current rules text, and live market prices before it goes live. If something's wrong, we fix it — see Corrections below.

Price and EV data

Prices on The Index are collected nightly from major MTG marketplaces, supplemented by pricing data from TCGCSV. Expected-value figures for sealed products are statistical estimates computed from published pull rates and current singles prices. All of it can be delayed or wrong, and none of it is financial advice.

Corrections

When we find an error, we fix the article and note the change. If you spot something wrong, tell us and we will check it against the sources above. Card rulings change and metas shift; articles are updated as sets release and policies change.
