MTG buylist spread windows
How far Card Kingdom’s cash offer sits below TCGplayer market for every card above. Dot size follows market price.
- Median spread
- 60%
- In the wide window
- 13 of 23
A wide spread means the store’s cash offer sits far below what the card actually sells for. Selling to a buylist is fast and certain, but you pay the gap. Listing the card yourself recovers more of it, in exchange for time, fees and shipping.
13 of the 23 cards here sit above 40%. Spreads widen when a price moves faster than a store is willing to follow. A negative spread is the rare opposite: a buylist paying more than the open market, a window that closes as soon as either price catches up.
MTG budget price spikes under $5
Cheap cards that climbed 40% or more in a week. Small dollars, and often the first sign that a new deck has found them.
Dollar change and the Nov 1 price are worked back from the current market and the seven-day percentage.
