MTG buylist spread windows
How far Card Kingdom’s cash offer sits below TCGplayer market for every card above. Dot size follows market price.
- Median spread
- 37%
- In the wide window
- 7 of 16
A wide spread means the store’s cash offer sits far below what the card actually sells for. Selling to a buylist is fast and certain, but you pay the gap. Listing the card yourself recovers more of it, in exchange for time, fees and shipping.
7 of the 16 cards here sit above 40%. Spreads widen when a price moves faster than a store is willing to follow. A negative spread is the rare opposite: a buylist paying more than the open market, a window that closes as soon as either price catches up.
MTG budget price spikes under $5
Cheap cards that climbed 40% or more in a week. Small dollars, and often the first sign that a new deck has found them.
Dollar change and the Nov 1 price are worked back from the current market and the seven-day percentage.
